ReplyDeleteActually the rules aren't enforced much. The sign just kind of "hangs there" on the front gate.
ReplyDeleteIt's a residence for aging adults, and everyone still pretty much lives the way they want.
There are a handful of tenants who do drugs on the side, and I think that's the main concern of both management and other tenants. Also, there are a few tenants who are deeply religious, not the kind who would engage in anything normally considered "sketchy".
I think the list is simply to convey the notion of the company having resolute priorities concerning safety and maintaining a respectable social environment.
ReplyDeletePlus, as I mentioned above, some tenants already have strict standards in their own lives (obviously not so the ones scoring illegal drugs on the sly)
