Should this be my "swan song"?

Should I finally just simply quit posting and let the rest of the blogging and online community "carry on" for me?

After all, I'm only one in---maybe 10 million +?---bloggers.
While I enjoyed expressing myself to the world and putting my quirky viewpoints out there for anyone else to see, I'm at the point now where I'd much rather sit back and let the "other guys" carry on, as they seem to have better resources, more self-confidence, and more backing and support from those around them.  And seem to often do a better job at self-expression than I ever could.

I've haven't made any concrete decisions on this just yet.  Still a "definite maybe" whether or not I post more in the future.
But I sort of am ready to, you know, "hang it up".

                                           ...I don't know                ...I still don't know yet.

                                       Another site to check out:
                                                               And still ANOTHER one:
                                                               A-a-a-a-and...ANOTHER one:

  1. No don't go. We all, have our our unique style of blogging don't we? Mind you I've been close to closing my blog so many times in the last few years, but decided just to cut back and blog less, well, unless I have something interesting to say. My issue is, that now I know my daughters read my blog, there are so many topics I just can't blog about, which is a shame!

I hope you stay around, but you must do what's right for you!

  2. I'm commenting over a month after you posted because it takes me some time to catch up with all the sites I follow. Yes, there's a plethora of voices online but no one will hear you if you quit. Anyway, what other options do you have to spend your time - watching TV? Better stick with blogging. I don't comment that often because I'm busy with all sorts of projects but I do follow a number of blogs including yours.

  3. Thanks for your inputs.
I'm still undecided on whether or not I'll continue posting.
However, I won't EVER take down this site, even if it ends up being another one of those "hasn't been updated for 3 years now" type.
I'm living my options open in the general sense.

Meanwhile, I'm busy reading other sites and leaving comments on them, using this site as my "official web address".
Also, there are things going on in my life at present that are both distracting and very invasive, so I barely get a chance to go on the library computers maybe once or twice a week (which also explains why I take a day to a week to respond to comments, as well as why my posts are/were so infrequent).

  4. "I'm leaving my options open..."
    A belated correction.
